Membership Terms

Conditions of membership at BCC Bar

1. Membership

BCC Bar is a private members bar operated by Brixton Alchemist Ltd. Membership is personal and non-transferable. We reserve the right to accept or decline any application for membership at our sole discretion.

2. Membership Fees

The annual membership fee is payable in full upon acceptance. Membership automatically renews each year unless cancelled.

Annual membership fee: £180/year. Membership fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed.

If you wish to cancel your membership and prevent automatic renewal, you must provide at least 30 days' written notice before your renewal date.

3. Guests

Members may bring up to three guests per visit at no additional charge. The member is responsible for the behaviour and conduct of their guests at all times. Guests must be accompanied by the member for the duration of the visit.

4. Conduct & House Rules

All members and their guests are expected to adhere to the following standards:

  • Treat all staff, members, and guests with respect and courtesy.
  • Keep noise levels appropriate for the space and time of evening.
  • No aggression, intimidation, or discriminatory behaviour of any kind.
  • Drink responsibly. We reserve the right to refuse service at any time.
  • No illegal substances on the premises.
  • Respect the privacy of other members and guests.

BCC Bar reserves the right to revoke membership at any time, without refund, if a member or their guest breaches these house rules or behaves in a manner deemed inappropriate by staff or management.

5. Bookings & Access

BCC Bar launches 1 May 2026, primarily operating on Friday evenings. We expect to be open most Fridays, though we may close on select holidays. Occasional special events may take place on Thursdays or Saturdays. Founding members receive 48-hour priority booking. Capacity is limited and entry may be subject to availability.

6. Photography & Content

Events at BCC Bar may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. If you would prefer not to be included, please inform a member of staff at the time. We will make every reasonable effort to respect your wishes.

7. Alcohol & Responsibility

BCC Bar operates as a licensed premises. All members and guests must be 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual at our discretion. BCC Bar accepts no liability for the actions or decisions of members or guests after consuming alcohol on the premises.

8. Liability

Members and guests attend BCC Bar at their own risk. BCC Bar and Brixton Alchemist Ltd accept no liability for any loss, theft, damage to personal property, or personal injury sustained on the premises, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

9. Data & Privacy

10. Changes to Terms

BCC Bar reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to members by email. Continued membership following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
